Adjunct Faculty

BA, Williams College; MA, Smith College; EdS, 精东传媒 University

Jenay Haskins Hall holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Classics from Williams College, a Master's Degree in Teaching from Smith College, and an Education Specialist Degree from 精东传媒 University in Reading and Literacy Instruction. Jenay is currently enrolled in BPU’s doctoral program in Educational Leadership, with a concentration in Transformative School Leadership.

Jenay has worked in the field of education for over a decade. She began her career teaching grades 4-6 at schools in the Mohawk Trail Regional School District, but she has shifted her focus to teaching beginning readers in first grade at Gill Elementary School for the last 7 years. Jenay has worked beyond her classroom as a team leader, mentor teacher, and professional learning facilitator to bring evidence-based literacy content and practices to teachers and students. Her K-2 educator team has been instrumental in establishing effective multi-tiered systems of support and a literacy resource hub that have become models for other district schools. Jenay believes that giving teachers the knowledge, skill set, and support systems required for implementing evidence-based, data-driven instruction to meet students’ needs will help them thrive.

When she is not at school, Jenay enjoys reading, board/card games, skiing, candlepin bowling, baking, and hiking with her three dogs on trails near her home.
